Aspen
Depart Snowmass Village by heading southeast on Brush Creek Road for approximately 6 miles (12 minutes), passing the Snowmass Golf Course on your right. At the intersection with the Brush Creek Park & Ride landmark, turn left (east) onto Highway 82 at the traffic light. Continue east for another 3 miles (6 minutes), passing the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport and the Buttermilk Ski Area. After a total journey of roughly 10 miles and 20 minutes, the highway will lead you directly into downtown Aspen.
Basalt
Start by traveling southeast on Brush Creek Road for 6 miles (12 minutes) until you reach the major intersection at the Brush Creek Park & Ride. Turn right (northwest) onto Highway 82 and continue for approximately 10 miles (12 minutes), passing the Woody Creek turnoff. Look for the Willits Town Center as your primary landmark near the exit. After a total drive of about 17 miles and 25 minutes, exit right to reach downtown where the Fryingpan River meets the Roaring Fork.
Carbondale
Follow Brush Creek Road southeast for 6 miles (12 minutes) and then turn right (northwest) onto Highway 82 at the traffic light. Stay on Highway 82 for about 21 miles (22 minutes), passing through the mid-valley area and the town of Basalt. As you continue toward the Mount Sopris landmark, look for the Highway 133 intersection near the Cowen Center. Turn left (southwest) onto Highway 133 to enter Carbondale. The entire trip covers roughly 28 miles and takes approximately 35 minutes in normal conditions.
Glenwood Springs
Begin your journey by heading southeast on Brush Creek Road for 6 miles (12 minutes) to reach the Highway 82 intersection. Turn right (northwest) and follow Highway 82 for nearly 33 miles (38 minutes), traversing the length of the Roaring Fork Valley. You will pass landmarks such as the Catherine Store and Carbondale as you head toward the canyon walls. Upon reaching the end of the highway, you will arrive at the I-70 interchange. The total travel distance is about 40 miles and takes roughly 50 minutes.
