CP Burger Play Description

CP Burger is a fast-casual restaurant and entertainment venue located at 433 East Durant Avenue in Aspen, Colorado, across from the Rubey Park Transit Center. Opened in 2010 by owners Craig and Samantha Cordts-Pearce, CP Burger has become a popular community hangout for locals and visitors seeking Aspen-style fast food in a casual, outdoor environment. The restaurant serves handcrafted burgers made from Colorado beef, turkey, chicken, tuna, and herbed falafel, alongside hot dogs, hand-cut fries, parmesan truffle fries, sweet potato fries, tater tots, Lulu Wilson’s famous kale salad, soft-serve frozen yogurt, and milkshakes. Adult beverages include spiked milkshakes and canned craft beer.

CP Burger features the Silver Circle Ice Rink, Aspen’s only outdoor ice skating rink, operating during winter months from December through February or longer depending on weather conditions. The outdoor rink provides family fun and starlit romance with skate rentals available and hot chocolate offered at CP Burger. When spring and summer arrive, the ice rink transforms into an 18-hole miniature golf course, also the only one in Aspen. Both activities are priced affordably and provide environments for family outings, group activities, or date nights. The seasonal transformation from ice skating to mini-golf was the subject of a legal battle in 2023 between the business owners and their landlords, with a Pitkin County District judge ruling in favor of CP Burger to preserve the golf course.

The outdoor patio at CP Burger provides year-round seating with mountain views and outdoor fireplaces for warming up during cold weather. The restaurant operates daily from 11 AM to 9 PM or 10 PM depending on season, offering takeout and delivery options. Located steps from the transit center and near Aspen Mountain Resort, CP Burger serves as a convenient stop for families, students, and athletic teams, hosting birthday parties and ice skating club exhibitions.
