Located along the banks of the Colorado River in Glenwood Springs, Iron Mountain Hot Springs is a modern geothermal soaking destination rooted in one of Colorado’s most storied hot springs landscapes. Long revered for its healing waters by nomadic Ute tribes who called the area Yampah, meaning “big medicine,” the site continues a centuries-old tradition of wellness and restoration in the Roaring Fork Valley. Iron Mountain Hot Springs features 16 naturally heated mineral soaking pools built into the hillside, with temperatures ranging from 98 to 108 degrees Fahrenheit. Each pool is thoughtfully positioned to provide sweeping views of the Colorado River, surrounding canyon walls, and nearby mountains. A large freshwater family pool with a jetted spa offers space for guests of all ages, while adults seeking a quieter experience can access exclusive soaking areas through a Premier Pass.

In addition to its original soaking layout, Iron Mountain Hot Springs expanded its experience with the introduction of WorldSprings, an adults-only area designed for guests 21 and over. This section includes freshwater pools with cascading waterfalls, a cold plunge, and a collection of globally inspired soaking pools modeled after famous hot springs from around the world. WorldSprings guests also enjoy access to The Sandbar Café, which offers an elevated menu alongside craft cocktails and refreshing beverages. Throughout the facility, guests will find heated walkways, ADA-accessible features, modern bathhouse amenities, and terraced soaking areas that blend seamlessly into the natural landscape.
