Lost Forest Description

Lost Forest is a summer adventure destination located at Elk Camp on Snowmass, accessible via gondola and operating from 10:30 AM to 4 PM during summer months. The facility offers outdoor activities including ziplines, ropes courses, the Breathtaker Alpine Coaster, climbing wall, miles of hiking trails, a high-mountain fishing pond, disc golf course, paintball, and bike trails. Three ticket options provide access to different activity combinations, catering to visitors of all ages and skill levels from gentle exploration to adrenaline-pumping adventures.

The Base Ticket costs $82 per day for ages 13 and up and $60 per day for ages 12 and under, including gondola access, alpine coaster, climbing wall, disc golf, fishing, and additional activities. The Treeline Ticket costs $118 per day for ages 13 and up and $83 per day for ages 8 to 12, featuring the Treeline Trial Challenge Course with ziplines, rappels, bridges, and ladders, plus gondola access and all Base Ticket activities. The Canopy Tour Ticket costs $244 for ages 16 and up and runs 3 hours, offering ziplines, sky bridges, and rappels above Snowmass. Reservations are required for the Canopy Tour, with height and weight restrictions applying.

Family-friendly activities include Aerial Approach Disc Golf, Elevated Journey Hiking Trails, Trout Hook Fishing Pond, sightseeing, and gondola rides. Thrill-seeker activities feature the Treeline Trial Challenge Course, Breathtaker Alpine Coaster, Canopy Run Zipline, and climbing wall. Lost Forest Ball Track is a 140-foot dual wooden track for young explorers, requiring purchase of a $10 souvenir ball from Lost Forest Headquarters or Elk Camp Restaurant. Robin’s Nest is a 4-story fully enclosed play structure for children ages 2 to 10, included free with Base Ticket purchase. Professional staff oversee adventure activities and provide safety equipment and instruction. Completely unused Base tickets are refundable. Canopy, Treeline, and Bonus Night Tickets require 48-hour cancellation notice. No refunds are provided due to weather if operations remain open, and no partial refunds are available.
