Ranch At Roaring Fork Golf Course is a public nine-hole, par-three golf facility in Carbondale, Colorado, designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels and abilities. Established in 1973, the Ranch is the first golf course built in the Roaring Fork Valley and remains a local favorite. The Ranch is a walking-only facility with no driving golf carts available. The Ranch At Roaring Fork encompasses a private fishery available exclusively to homeowners who purchase fishing badges. The fishery consists of more than two miles of river frontage along the Roaring Fork River, almost four and a half miles of stream fishing, and over 16 acres of pond fishing across eight ponds within the Common Recreational Reserve. The fly-fishing-only waters contain native brown trout and regularly stocked Hofer Harrison rainbow trout, which are whirling disease resistant, with trophy fish of both species prevalent in the ponds. Fishing and waterway management operations are carried out in collaboration with the Fishing and Waterways Advisory Committee.
