Snowmass Free Concert Series

Snowmass Free Concert Series is a weekly summer event held at the Fanny Hill Concert Stage in Snowmass Village, featuring live music performances on Thursday evenings from June 18 through August 20, 2026. The series presents a rotating lineup of national and regional acts across genres including rock, funk, soul, and bluegrass. Doors open at 5:30 PM for attendees to claim their spots, with music beginning at 6:30 PM as the sun sets behind the peaks.

The concert area offers space to dance near the stage and room to spread out further back on the grassy slope for those preferring to relax. A staffed bar is located inside the venue selling water and alcoholic beverages including canned beer, wine, and cocktails for guests 21 years old or older with proper ID and wristband. Outside alcohol is not permitted, though sealed non-alcoholic beverages are allowed with no glass containers. A water filling station is available inside the venue for refilling bottles. The atmosphere is casual and community-focused, attracting families, groups of friends, and individual music lovers.

Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or low chairs, jackets or sweaters for cooler evening temperatures, and umbrellas for inclement weather. Many Snowmass restaurants in Base Village and the Mall offer takeout for concert picnic dinners. No pets are allowed due to loud noise being harmful to animals, though service animals are permitted in compliance with ADA Guidelines, excluding emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs.

The Fanny Hill Concert Stage is located at the end of the Snowmass Mall within walking distance of hotels, restaurants, and shops. Free parking is available at Town Park Station and the Brush Creek Intercept Lot with free shuttles to the Snowmass Mall and Base Village. RFTA bus service operates from Aspen and the Intercept Lot, and the free Village Shuttle provides service throughout Snowmass. Limited free parking is available in the Base Village Parking Garage during summer months, with the free Sky Cab Gondola providing access from Base Village to the Snowmass Mall.

Mountainside Music Festival is a new free three-day festival taking place June 11-13 on the Fanny Hill Stage, featuring openers, headliners, vendors, and sunsets. Thursday and Friday evening doors open at 5:30 PM with openers at 6:30 PM and headliners at 7:30 PM, while Saturday doors open at 4:00 PM with multiple openers and headliners at 7:30 PM.
