Tulips Body Waxing Studio & More is Aspen’s only specialty waxing salon, founded in 2007 by Berkeley Smith on West Main Street. What began as a shared space with an established hair stylist expanded in 2008 to occupy the entire location, and the studio has continued to grow since. Berkeley Smith, owner and manager, is a Colorado licensed esthetician and massage therapist who received massage training at Santa Barbara Bodyworks in Santa Barbara, California, and esthetics certification at The Connecting Point in Telluride, Colorado. For advanced esthetics with a specialty in waxing, Berkeley was mentored at Box Bodywaxing Boutique in Las Vegas under Bree Goldwater.

Tulips Body Waxing Studio fosters a laid-back culture where clients can feel welcomed, included, and safe to lower their guard. The studio recognizes that waxing can be intimidating due to concerns about pain, modesty, or the unknown, so they create an environment where everything is okay. While professionalism, timeliness, and quality work remain very important, the atmosphere includes loud music, comedy, and jokes to help clients laugh and relax. The team shares conversation and personal stories, creating a human connection that makes the experience comfortable and approachable.

Lash and brow tinting services at Tulips Body Waxing Studio enhance natural color and definition, darkening and shaping lashes and brows for a fuller, more defined look without daily makeup. Perfect for those with lighter hair or busy lifestyles, tinting saves time while creating a polished, effortless appearance lasting for weeks. Berkeley Smith grew up in Aspen and near Telluride, graduated from Aspen High School, and spent 15 years living in Seattle, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and Telluride before returning to the Roaring Fork Valley in June 2007 to open the studio.
